The Santa Clara County Medical Association Alliance is the philanthropic and volunteer arm of SCCMA that consists of physicians, physician spouses, students in training and friends of medicine. Bettering the health in Santa Clara County is the main focus of the Alliance. In collaboration with other community groups, the Alliance provides health education, underwriting of projects and legislative support for medical issues.

Santa Clara County Medical Association Alliance is pleased to announce that Dr. William Lewis is the dedicated County Alliance Member for 2010. He was honored at a special luncheon in Sacramento at the California Medical Association Alliance Annual Session on Saturday, May 1, 2010.

Dr. Lewis has served on the board of the Santa Clara County Medical Association as a Counsel member from 2006-2007, VP of External Affairs 2008-2010, Chair of Santa Clara County Political Action Committee, 2008-2010 and is currently President-Elect.

He has been a member of SCCMA Alliance since 2006. From his positions on the board of the SCCMA, Dr. Lewis has provided unwavering support for the work of the Alliance, encouraging other members of the Medical Association to join him in participation in Alliance events and fundraising. He has proven to be the Alliance advocate at all the SCCMA meetings and events. Congratulations, Dr. Lewis. We appreciate you!

AMAA has announced a dues increase of $10 which will be reflected in our dues billing for July 1, 2010. Feel free to renew your membership online though this website any time!
